Some extra information, I will be riding in neighbor trails in wood and some parks near me, my budget is under $800 usd, I don’t like my current bike because it is a department store hardtail I got about 4+ years ago, and my experience level is that I am pretty new to real mountain biking and I want a nice bike to ride trails and go to parks.

  2. I was with it until I saw the pic of the seat stays….that’s a lot of damage that says Ive been ridden hard.   The same on the wheels… A lot of chips.      It’s pretty risky and can get expensive if they didn’t maintain the pivot bearings and what not.   Call your trek store nearest to you and see if they can still get frame bearings kits for this year.   You’re so close to 1000 dollars and that can get you a newer hardtail.  Id hate for you to buy a used full suspension and have to spend a lot to make it safe.   But you’ll have to go look at it in person…. it just looks pretty used in my opinion

Edit….also, 19 inch frames are for people around and over 6’0 tall

That is not a 2017 bike. Looks like it could be a 2011. Bikes have come way to far in recent years to consider anything that old

  4. No way that’s a 2017 riding on 26” wheels?! It looks pretty beat up, and if it hasn’t been regularly serviced with that amount of hard riding, the forks, shock and pivots could be very expensive and difficult to service/replace. I’d avoid like the plague tbh.

For your budget you could get a more recent, nicely specced used hardtail.
