Repairing/upgrading bikes for profit is a hard thing to do. He overspent in this case and is trying to get too much money out of it. There’s some nice parts on these bikes but not the kind of parts you can make a profit on I am afraid.

Cool bikes, especially the Kona, but with the upgrades they’re maybe worth $200ish each. Parting them out would probably make the seller more money.

There’s a pair of ‘89 stumpys in Santa Monica Craigslist for $1250 a piece but you can only buy both at $2500 and after a few weeks if they sit at that price he’ll consider selling them separately. He upgraded to a 1×9 I think on one of them the other looks pretty stock. They are in good shape but he mentioned he just bought a Rivendell so anyone want to pay for this guys Riv? 😂
