Hi, I have a canyon grizl 6 and there are two mounting points under the frame where I marked it. I was thinking of mounting a bottle cage there. Has anyone done it and what are your experiences with it? Thanks in advance!

Everything down there will eat a lot of dirt, keep that in mind. I used the mount for the lock, maybe a toolbox is likely to be there. Heavy stuff is well suited for a low mount on a bike.
I run a backup bottle there on my Grail, but almost exclusively ride on pavement so it doesn’t get very dirty. If I need the water I pour it into one of my other bottles.
i put a small water bottle (600ml) down there for my bikepacking trip recently. check my profile. my frame wouldnt clear 750ml as I have mudguard on (Grail 7 AL AXS in size XS) and 650B wheels.
on normal day for city usage or work commuting I mount ABUS folding lock holder.
Don’t own a grizl, but have those bolts too and the only thing I put there is a tool bottle. It picks up all the dirt your front tire picks up, so I wouldn’t want to drink out of a bottle stored there.
