  1. Thanks a lot. I didn’t know these existed, and now I have to go buy them.

    P.S. PD-ME700 are better anyway. 🙂

  2. Shimano out here out-jerking us all by painting the pedals a new color and calling them gravel specific. They didn’t even try to hide it in the model number- XT pedals PD-M8100…GRX are PD-M8100-UG for their United in Gravel marketing campaign.

Damnit…just take my money Shimano!!! Give me the new shiny!!

And here I am running m515 on my revolt x cause they’re the same pedals as I’ve ran on my 2003 TCR1 since I got it 😂

I just bought some XTs and I don’t feel cheated on at all lol. After a muddy ride you’re not gonna tell them apart anyways

  6. “the large platform”

yea just no.. my Ht T2 has a “slightly” larger platform but it has a platform at all.

  7. i was reading the entire article and thinking to myself probably i dont understand much about this and they have something special..

If this was a serious post I would say ditch the XT Pedals and Xpedo M-Force 8’s. But since this is a joke post I won’t say that.

I just fitted a new set of XT to my Checkpoint after deciding it shouldn’t share pedals with my fatbike.

While fitting them, I realised they might just outlive me.

So happy not to have had the whole ‘are cheerful graphics worth an extra $38’ discussion with myself.

I’m gonna buy those and install it on my SRAM Force cranks. I’m a rebel. 😎

  11. This is very unlike Shimano. Using an SPD cleat? I’d expect a new 4-bolt cleat design.

  12. Not sure I need the fun, new graphics on my pedals, I’m quite content with my Look X-track
