I bought a Retrospec Mars bike a few years ago and loved it. The matching metal fenders, deep blue frame with brown and silver accents, idk the whole aesthetic of it is a great classic look. And it was a nice hybrid bike- I don’t do a ton of biking but it served me super well for city rides and some light trails. I’ve owned my share of serviceable-but-crappy bikes in my time, this was the first one that had decent performance and had a nice character to it (and I really loved not having terrible plastic fenders).

It was stolen out of my garage yesterday. I saw that Retrospec doesn’t sell this model anymore and their “Beaumont” bike has some of this look but is a pretty poorly rated city bike, so it looks similar but seems like a functional downgrade. I’m tallying up the other things that were stolen too to see if it makes sense to do an insurance claim, but I’m looking for advice on what I should look at if I go out to buy a replacement myself.
