  1. Currently estimated at 20 700 000$ with 2 years left until everything is done, so will be higher. More than 11 times initial estimated cost. Oh and its 8 miles long.

    Its amazing for my commute, no crossing anywhere and no pedestrians or motorized vehicles on it (expect e-bikes). Still an insane price

  2. A dedicated lane for a right turn seems a little excessive. For turning left, it makes for a nice feature though.

  3. Id say this is over-designed and at first, that is a convenient feature, in a decade it might become unmaintainable without massive adoption. The paint might be the only thing that gets upkeep.

    Less expensive than the road on the right, although I haven’t factored in all the ‘consultation’ and NIMBYs

    They really do treat our bikes like mini-cars. Which they really are not.

    I miss the trees and the shadow. I would even sacrifice lane width for shadow. But in Sweden the priorities might differ as well as the ambient temperature.
