I'm trying to build up a new bike frame I bought recently. I had everything installed but the darn seatpost won't go below an inch. I went to Home Depot to get tools to clean the inside of the frame. I used a huge flathead screwdriver to open the seatpost clamp a bit. Nothing is working. I would love some advice on how to proceed. Thanks!

I’d be triple checking seatpost diameters at this point, even 0.2mm difference can screw it up
Your bootleg Bianchi frame might have a different seatpost diameter. Some (mostly French) frames come with some wild diameters.
