factor ostro vam the spacers for the headset arent moving with the 1 piece bar/stem. anyone know why

  2. Top cap isn’t installed so there is no preload. Your steerer also looks mighty short to run with the tall cap based on that video.

I’ve built dozens of those bikes so let me know if you have any specific concerns

You are not qualified to be assembling that bike lmao, bring it to a bike shop. You’re going to ruin your multi thousand dollar road frame. It’s worth the $150 you’ll spend at a shop getting it professionally assembled.

It looks like you have cut the fork too short. You need a new one.

You also have no top cap and expander plug in there, so no rlpreload on the bearings, so the spacers don’t turn

Because your fork is too short your expander plug is not going to fit properly now.

The other dude who said you have probably fucked your bike is right.

  5. Hey, not trying to be rude. Working on your own bikes is awesome, and I absolutely encourage it. But I would suggest getting a mechanic to build it up for you to start with. You don’t know what you don’t know, and that bike is way too nice to take the chance of messing up if you haven’t built a bike before. I’ve worked in a bike shop for a couple years, and even then, I had my senior mechanic checking over my shoulder at every step the first time I built a bike like that up from the frame.
