  1. There is not enough space for bikes here: three lanes for a few cars. Let's see when the city is brave enough to give the whole bridge and crossing to bikes.

  2. Despite what people (mostly Americans) might say, Copenhagen actually isn't that great for biking infra, at least when you compare it to the nl, or more progressive cities in belgium, France and Germany. Yet, despite this, it has an immense amount of people cycling. Copenhagen desperately needs some aggressive infra upgrades to cope with biking demand.

  3. Where is "the infrastructure that enables it"???

I only see blue paint and many bikes cramped up by the side of the road.

What is this hyped up nonsense of Copanhagen being romantisized with bikes and unbelievably good bicycle (drooling) infrastructure that don't even exist? While in reality the reason they ride these bikes is for the miserable fact that they are taxed 200% when buying a car. You need to pay for two cars but only get one. Now you need to go ride a bike in freezing temperatures and blazing cold rain weather. Because owning a car would be too much of a luxury.

    How romantic.
