Heading off on a charity bikepacking trip tomorrow with friends from Nottingham (UK) to Amsterdam over 3 days.
The route is simple enough and we’re not actually camping, but it will be an adventure nonetheless.
What would be your main carry along for a short trip and what would you simply not bother with?

Sounds like a fun trip! What kind of roads / paths are you riding? I’m asking because I’ve wondered the possibility to do something similar (from Netherlands to UK), just the opposite way. I’m from Finland, and have not been biking in that region ever.
