Did you print it with TPU? I wanted to do the same but am a bit scared of the plastic when crashing so I thought maybe a thin TPU is better. My idea is to have a hinged lid that opens to the back and can be closed quickly/one-handed with just a rubber band that goes around a little overhang at one a clock (if you look from the top).
