Is this a good bike to get into road biking? Giant Revolt 2

This is my second post here, and unfortunately the seller of the CaadX for sale that was an excellent price won’t respond.
This Giant Revolt 2 seems to be in pretty decent shape and retails for $1400 from Giant’s website. The seller has it listed for $450 USD and claims that shipping would only be $30.
