Trying to service this free hub.
I’ve tried some large Allen keys but 10mm is too small and 12mm is too big. Should I try to source an 11? Or is there a specific free hub key for this?
It’s a Giant hub from an old Giant Escape hybrid bike if that helps.

Allen key – the hole is just 12-sided to allow for greater clearance with the axle.
Typical size is usually 11mm with a QR hub, but otherwise could be 11, 12, 13, 14, 15mm depending on hub.
From my experience it’s just an Alan key. You would have to see the manufacturer of the hub. However I would definitely get an 11mm and give that a bash. Can’t loose at least you get a new tool. 😁🤙🏻
