Looking to buy a wtp envy. At 173cm I'm not sure whether to go the 20.5inch or 21 inch top tube.
Worried that 20.5 will be too cramped. Haven't ridden a bmx for about 11 years so I can't remember what TT length is reasonable 🤣. Will be riding mostly park n dirt, thinking 20.5 cause tails whips might feel a bit better but curious to know what others are running..

Definitely the longer one if you’re riding dirt
Generally you’d be 20.5 for your height, but most now ride longer tt bikes more so if it’s being ridden for transition and trails
I’m 178 running a 21.25tt for your height I’d recommend a 20.75tt
I am 180cm and recently went from 20.75 to 21 tt
And it was the best change ever! I ride mostly street and (trying lol) tech stuff so i was worried i will lose responsivenes. But with a 12.7 chainstay the frame feels perfect. So for your height and riding i think 20.75 would be best.
You’re going to want 20.5 to 21. It’s more a comfort thing.
Whips and spins are more based on your chain stay length. The shorter, the easier to whip and spin. Longer rear end is more stable on trails and vert.
