I use my old Trek Marlin 5 as a commuter bike now (cuz I'm scared of my nice one getting stolen) that I do some light trail riding and tricks with, but I keep getting pinch flats. I want to convert it tubeless.
I have the Bontrager Connection (not tubeless compatible) and Bontrager SE5 Team Issue TLR MTB Tire (tubeless compatible). If I just tape up the rim, toss some sealant and a valve in, and call it a day, do you think it will hold? Honestly, I do not care much about damaging the bike, I just don't want to keep replacing the tube.
