Depends on how into it he is. They look like tubulars so to the average cyclist maybe not. But that zipp full carbon disc is maybe worth a few hundred bucks (maybe $300~$500) on eBay if it still works.

If you are not into biking then each individual wheel originally cost 2x more than you would spend on a complete bike.
