Light, great overall geo, stiff enough, can be made light, and just good all rounders.
In my market (Chicago) this is a good deal in my opinion, assuming the bike is clean, dent free, and ready to ride.

I put over 4,000 miles on my Langster. It’s a brilliant frame. The geometry is more forgiving and versatile than many dedicated track bikes, which makes it a great option for those dipping their feet into riding fixed gear.

This was my first fixie! I had no idea about fixed gear and just wanted a single speed but one day I flipped the hub. I then got interested and bought straps and then changed the cockpit for riser bars and then much later got another bike but I used this stock bike for years. The frame was very comfy and light. Headset and BB went out pretty quick but the original saddle and wheels were great.

Its a nice relaxed geo frame, so if you are new to it and don’t want the crazy track geo and toe overlap issues then this is a nice smooth transition in to it i’d say.

Definitely for an old Langster, depending on the price. Might need some new pedals and foot retention though. I wish I had that instead of my State back then.
