  1. I would check for misaligned brake pad and replace this at your next convenience.
    I generally recommend to get the non Plus variant. I get one puncture a year but the rest of the time my bike is 1kg lighter and easier to accelerate

  2. Looks like a manufacturing defect. I’d contact Schwable. They usually last years and years.

    It’s either manufacturing defect or you have an issue with how you are using them. Something could be rubbing or you might be using too low or too high of a pressure.

    That, or you ride a whole lot more than most other people do in a year.

  4. Did you leave your bike sitting for a long time without air in the tire, perhaps over the winter? I often see this from bikes that have been sitting on flat tires for extended periods of time.

  5. I did this when I misread the 65psi upper limit as 85psi on my 26×1.75 marathon , seat the beads and left them in 85psi unnoticed for a week in 2018.

    I am still using the same tyre on my front wheel, but running it between 20-40psi most of the time.
