My partner’s parents had this stored in their basement for over 10 years. They found out I liked messing with bikes so they gave it to me. Their late friend who owned the bike was an avid cyclist and did long distance rides. It is caked in dirt and grime. The middle chainring was swapped for a GT 43t chainring. Gonna have to assume it’s from a BMX around that era. So it’s 50/43/28. The 28 has no wear at all. It’s a size too big unfortunately. I’m in the middle of servicing all the parts. Goal is to have it cleaned up and mechanically sound. It might be a nice starting point for someone who wants to build up a touring bike or a nice vintage town bike.

Canti 700 bikes get my upvotes!
The bike’s been in a front-end crash, The fork is bent back slightly.
The middle ring looks worn but there are plenty of choices for 110mm BCD.
You could gravel-ize the bike with some bigger tires and swept-back bars, it’d be a nice ride.
It’s a better-than-decent quality steel frame.
One of my favorite ever bikes was a Schwinn Voyageur in the same color as this one…too bad about the front end collision on yours, and double too bad it doesn’t fit. Beaut of a bike.
