After building up my personal 1990 Hardrock, my best friend said he wanted a similar bike. After just a day of searching I came across a medium frame Rockhopper which is the perfect size for my fiend.
After picking it up today I gave it a quick wash and threw on my personal set of wheels/tires just to see what it would look like. We’ve already ordered the same tires for him and a set of new pedals. All the component are in great condition. Let me know what you think.

Nice. I just picked up a 98 rockhopper too. So far I love it. But I wish mine was silver also. Stem and bars are polished aluminum, and I’m toggling back and forth on whether to convert to black when I replace them. I already have black riser bars from a previous project, but that silver stem/bar combo looks real nice. I have a polished aluminum Pelago front rack on order, and one day soon I might finally figure out how to fit the Velo Orange steel fenders I’ve been sitting on for a couple years. Anyway, enjoy the build! What are you thinking for next steps?
