Made it to Lviv!

good morning everybody there were no bed bugs so that’s a win looking at this there’s still some dirt in places I should have been more attentive with the spray let’s see if I can clean it out with a stick or something wait a minute where did my sunscreen I swear to God okay lesson learned this is not a spot for holding anything I am not capable of making it tight enough to stop stuff from shaking out I guess let’s see if we can pick up some cheaper sunscreen at a supermarket to the guy in the comments who bet I would lose the sunscreen you absolutely won that bet [Music] let’s see if we can find sunscreen this says it’s SPF 50 this cost $2 yeah so I cannot rely on this little friction tie to keep holding friction because it just shakes too loose I need to like actually zip this down so I’m pretty sure this is still a spray but I don’t think it’s pressurized hey I like this I like this a lot I’m going to start getting sprays like this this is much easier than using the cream and I feel like I’m wasting less of it than I would with the pressurized spray I will keep this sunscreen zipped up in this pouch right here it is not going anywhere I don’t know why I didn’t do that before but we’re doing it now okay it looks like we have a straight shot to Aviv how far away is it 44 Mi we can make it there today we can make it there fast 44 Mi is definitely within the capacity of these batteries it’s not that big of a deal though we can take our time we will go at speed two I’m going to pull over and get something to drink [Music] can I get this and uh one of these guys the hamburger we spent about $7 on this we got a hamburger a drink and some sour candy we got some Sour smog balls this is why it was so expensive because I’m sure that this had to be imported this is literally written in English but I like trying sour candy they look a lot like Jawbreakers M that is pretty sour holy I love these things I think I’m going to go buy more God damn I’m crying a little bit before we do that we will try this hamburger it doesn’t have like ketchup mustard it’s got like a a orange sauce on it for a gas station hamburger is pretty solid okay I bought them out they don’t have anymore apparently we spent $13.50 on all of this but absolutely worth it because this stuff is amazing oh my God so this is now officially my new favorite candy in the entire world ever this is so potent holy cow the chemicals they use in this stuff to make it really sour aren’t actually legal in the EU so you’re not able to get something this strong in like Romania here in Ukraine woo like it’s legitimately it’s legitimately making my eyes water I can drink I can drink straight lemon juice and it doesn’t do that this so strong just a sec I see a tire pressure thing I bet they give you air for free they do you don’t need to pay if you want to pump up your tires you don’t need to pay for it love you crane okay back on the road I am in a fantastic mood it’s a great day I found some insane sour candy yeah my chain really needs oil look at all of this extra asphalt I get a ride on I believe this is the first bike path I’ve seen in the country I’m pretty sure it’s a bike path never mind the bike path stopped after like a quarter of a mile I see a McDonald’s up ahead we should give that a shot oh we found a big super mall looking thing I’m going to park the bike out here somewhere farther away from the crowds this light pole will do let’s go try some Ukrainian McDonald’s God there are so many people here yet somehow I was still able to find a seat English their prices are actually exactly what you expect from America like a hamburger is $150 uh cheeseburger is $2 I noticed they don’t have Coke Zero they’ve only got regular Coke okay actually that is that’s like $4.70 for a full meal that’s pretty good actually yeah $474 okay I’m looking for places we definitely need need one with a washing machine and a bathtub look at that washing machine and bathtub perfect how much is it $19 a night yes that’s a steal I just got a message from them the apartment is not available cancel it for free please okay I found one it’s got a washing machine and it’s got a bathtub what are we looking at for price $22 a night okay yeah that’s fine okay I booked the new place but if we want to be able to actually wash our laundry and let it dry in time we need to head out now I thought I would have time to edit this video but we need to wash the laundry well we got to try McDonald’s so that’s cool it’s crazy to me how popular McDonald’s is here I think that we are going to switch back to using the bad app the one that I hate so much because it’s really good at giving me bike pads inside the city I think that it’s worth it to make sure that I’m not needing to ride on busy roads 4.6 mil the host just messaged me said that it’s okay that I’m coming follow this way for 1.3 mil see this is what I mean it told me that there was a cycle way here and I would not have seen this if I was using Google Maps and this looks like a really good Cycle Way okay app sometimes you’ve redeemed yourself welcome back to laiv every everyone we are staying somewhere over here it does not look like there would be a good place for me to park my bike hello I’m here hello hello yes hello I’m at the apartment [Music] this place is gorgeous this place is huge look at this place this it’s got marble floors marble walls the bathtub it’s got a I don’t need to worry about running out of hot water because it’s got one of those European hot water heater things that just like has a fire going underneath the water and it’ll make it I have unlimited hot water yes we definitely have hot water we got this whole place for $23 look at this one two you could you could house like 10 people in this place it’s got a fireplace it’s got TVs in every room it’s got a TV in the kitchen I’m not sure who would be using a TV in the kitchen but it’s got one tomorrow we are going to do maintenance on the bike we need to add oil to the chain we want to replace the the brake pads but today today is just about bads this place has got how does the key fit wait do I need to open the thing from the other side there we go I can probably also bring my bike right there does this door open H if this door doesn’t open that’ll make that t oh I figured how to make it open come on there we go I don’t know why but I’m not that nervous here in Ukraine like when I was in Serbia or when I was in Albania I was a lot more worried about my stuff getting stolen but here not that concerned come on there we go let’s go ahead and grab all the laundry okay update so I was wrong uh the power went out and I was assuming that it was just a blackout so I would do the laundry later but I get a text from the owner that says that he’s having problems with his electrical something or another and so they’re moving me to a completely different apartment and they’re giving me a discount because apparently power will not come back on today I don’t think it’s a blackout because I can see the other neighbors have power so we will uh just take everything back downstairs the new apartment is in the same sort of complex we just got to walk it over here so the new place is definitely a downgrade we still do have a washing machine that’s what’s important we lost the bathtub they gave me $5 back though I did have the option to just cancel everything and he would give me my money back I decided not to do that because it’s not that big of a deal that bathtub looks super nice though okay I got to show you this you guys will find this funny so that’s the apartment that we were just in the one that doesn’t have power this is the one that we’re in now that does have power and you can see they’ve got these little pulley systems I’m pretty sure this is the transport stuff between the two apartments because they don’t want to walk and do the whole maze that requires to get here I think they made this to transport equipment they’ve got three pulley they they do have like clothes lines so I imagine these ones are just for hanging clothes but the ones that are actually hooked up on PO Wheels I think that’s for moving stuff back and forth I hear sirens going off and they sound like they’re larger than just like a police siren I wonder if that’s what the air raid sound like but we’re pretty far west I don’t think we’d be having Russian missiles hitting us here let’s go investigate oops I don’t hear it anymore yeah the sirens seem to have stopped I don’t think that we should be expecting any missiles oh somebody on Instagram just pointed out that the sound that we heard earlier was probably a test for the sirens I found a pizza place thank you so much woo this cost $2.90 look at this $293 this country is great I’m in a great mood despite losing the bathtub we still got a really cheap pizza I’m going to e the pizza and wash laundry I will catch you guys tomorrow
