Semms like a reasonable deal, but it’s not a bike I’d choose for commuting. What I look for in a commuter:
– fenders. Riding in rain without fenders you’ll cover yourself in road grime that’s being thrown onto your back and feet from the wheels.
– rack. Without a rack for panniers or basket you’ll have to carry all your cargo on your back. That’s gonna be a sweaty back in summer plus more weight on your bum.
– dynamo lights. The rechargables are likely to get stolen because you can just take them off without tools. Also it’s a bit of a faff keeping them charged. Dynamo lights on the other hand are just always ready to go.
– Internal gear hub. Much more resistant to mud and grime, and there’s no derailleur hanger to bend out of place if someone carelessly parks their bike next to yours. And just generally much lower maintenance requirements.
– belt drive or fully enclosed chain. With an exposed chain you are much more likely to get your pants dirty and you’re gonna have to clean and oil it much more regularly to keep it working well.
The first two things I’d consider “essential” while the rest is more of a nice to have.

Seems fair at a glance.
