I have a ponto go by Electra and I have loved every moment of it. Currently in San Diego but will be moving to new Hampshire. Is it worth trying to commute with a moped style e-bike or should I be in the market?

A motorcycle sub will give you better advice.
I commute 30 miles round trip all winter in CO, and I can’t imagine doing it on that bike. By wearing the right gear and riding a bike that encourages pedaling I easily stay warm on the colder days. I don’t know how you could possibly insulate your feet enough if you don’t have vigorous, exercise-induced blood circulation working for you. But maybe winter motorcyclists have some tricks up their sleeves.
