A couple weeks back I was riding on my favorite bike path. I rounded a blind corner and came face to face with a lady driving her hatchback ON the bike path. I dodged to the right, hit a signpost base that had been hidden in tall grass, and hit the pavement pretty hard just in time to see the lady drive off. Somehow my frame is fine and I didn’t pop a tire, just wound up with a bunch of road rash and some ruined bar tape – peep my electrical tape repair job while I wait for some more tape to come in. Took about 2 weeks for most of the road rash to clear up.
