A very enjoyable biking route starting off at the Norwich Riverside and Cathedral Walk following the River Wensum, taking in lots of the history of Norwich. From there, we carried on past the old Colman’s Mustard site into Trowse before leaving the city behind and venturing out onto the Kirby Bedon Road. This is where you really feel you’re out in the countryside – but it’s a fairly busy road, so no time for chatting. Our next stop was Bramerton Common for lunch and what a perfect place to sit and watch the boats sail by on the River Yare – so tranquil. Homeward bound we headed towards Whitlingham Lane making our route circular before heading back into the city centre. We are really lucky to have so many biking routes on our doorstep and only a short bike away from the beautiful Norfolk countryside.

  1. Norwich looks a pretty cool place. A place I wouldn't mind spending time in. Love it when were out of the city though and in to the lanes. Another world altogether. Lovely looking day there. Mark
