Providing an update to my earlier post asking what’s the biggest 700 tire you can fit in a Secan – 700×50 aka 29×2.0 Continental Race Kings fit. It’s tight, might not be ideal for thick mud, but it fits with about 6mm of clearance to the closest part of the frame.
These are mounted on Stans Crest MK3 rims which have a 23mm internal width and the tires when mounted measure about 51mm.
Tried to get a few shots of all the spots people might care about.
Just placed my order! If these didn’t fit I would have done the 650 wheel build but I’m happy to get 700. (This is not my bike, turns out a friend has a Secan and he let me borrow it for a test ride / check for tire fit)

I have a similar situation with 2.1 mezcals on my purple haze. I burned of all the extraction residues to prevent damaging the frame.
