Purchased this last year from my local Recyclery! They’d done a tune and fixed up the wheels, installed the new seat and speedo for me. We added the cupholder, but I just wear a backpack with a few liters… but the thing that sold me was just the paint. I’m a huge fan of the modern bikes nowadays, and their awesome materials and everlasting colors, but this is a metallic paint job on a bike. Respectful.

I believe this is a late 80’s Miyata Ninety. If anyone originally purchased this large frame in Lincoln, Nebraska, you’ll be glad to know it’s in good hands (that’s the oldest sticker I found on it.) If you recently live in Lincoln and remember having to buy a bicycle permit in the color green for this bike, again, it’s in good hands.

We’re in Oklahoma, now, and the winds are quite windy! Everyone tells me changing the gear set and swapping out this original pair of wheels and tires is putting money into a frame that’s not modern and is very heavy…but for me, I get blown around as it is, I need a frame to stay planted.

I found these original catalogs online, but if anyone has access to any type of service manual (do they make those) OR a large group of Miyata owners who can provide further insight/tips, much appreciated!
