No idea how this happened, but I found a massive crack in my top tube while loading the bike after a ride in the northwoods of WI. Bike has never been crashed or dropped, ridden by a 40M. Bike has less than 200 miles on it. It was a close out 2021 model that I bought 6 months ago during a promotion.

I had just wrapped up riding a trail (dirt candy) with a couple of smaller drops (3ft), and the bike never went down and I didn’t notice it until we got back to my truck. I’m not a jumper and had ridden the bike around 50 miles of backwoods single track the previous 2 days. I’ve been cycling for 18 years and I’ve never had this happen. Crack goes 1/2 around the top tube.

Does anyone have experience with Alchemy’s lifetime warranty? Bike has been awesome to ride with friends and my kids up until this happened.

Also, and ideas how something like this happens? I’m 240lbs but I feel like the bike should hold up to my weight especially given the mild use it’s seen.

Looks like crash damage, or someone has lent or clamped the top tube.

I don’t think your getting very far with warranty imho.
