Why did this happen? I have done this jump before perfectly, but this time I broke my collarbone.

You got bucked, and instead of rotating your bike upwards around your center of gravity, you dead sailored it and lawn darted into the ground. The buck is caused by not actively jumping. Thats my best guess considering all the trees in the way
Sometimes shit happens. I took a spill and busted my ass a few weeks ago in a jump I’ve hit over 500 times.
Won’t be riding for a while but you don’t play in the mud if you’re afraid to get dirty.
Those trails looks sick by the way! I hope you heal up quickly!
A broken collarbone is better than a broken neck. We have our good days and bad days. My best advice is if you’re not feeling it, whether you’re too hot, tired, or hungover, take it easy. I made a bad choice to keep riding a trail that was nothing but bowling ball rock gardens and went OTB twice! It fucking shook me and I keep thinking about that tiny thought I had at the top, “maybe I should go down the way I came up…”
Looks like you bucked it whilst also over clearing it to flat. Then you went out the front door.
You forgot to jump! Just rode off the lip and let Jesus take the wheel
Over confidence
How long had you been riding that day? First run? Last run? (obviously, but you know)
You were the passenger and not the pilot on that one. Hell it takes me a while to rein in things so I do not dead sailor shit because you need to be active/dynamic with your movement before coming up to that jump. It happens to the best of us
