Just got a new Canyon Pathlite bike (size XS) and found out that the saddle sits a bit too high for me. It’s carbon seatpost that doesn’t go to its lowest setting (as far as I understand – see pic for the lowest state). Is that normal or am I supposed to be able to push it down further?
Do I have any options to get the saddle to sit at a lower height? Do I need to get a new seatpost?

It’s unlikely that it will go in any further.
If it really is too tall for you then just saw a little off the bottom with a hacksaw. 5 minutes work and a lot cheaper than a new seat post.
