Beginner Bike Options: Any of these worth it?

First bike is a Trek Hybrid EBike that was converted into a normal bike. $170ish range. Any advice? The roads around here can have potholes and the bike lanes are not always smooth. Using it to bike with friends and to the gym. Also looking for a medium sized bike at 5’6” here.
