Melissa and Chris Bruntlett have written a book, Building the Cycling City: The Dutch Blueprint for Urban Vitality,” about the Dutch approach to cycling.

there’s so much we can learn from the Netherlands [Music] everything is so different everything every city there’s no like one perfect so there’s so it’s not necessarily about the bicycle bike building better cities recycling as cities due benevolence just become better places for living and so even if you don’t ride a bike you’re gonna take advantage of the quiet streets and commerce streets cleaner air that all these kind of knock-on effects of building cities bicycles they’re better for everybody [Music]
