The shifting cable that goes to the front derailleur is mounted on the bottom I wonder if there's a way that I can still use this derailure or unless if I have to use a different one for this bike.This Bike is the Schwinn High Timber ALX.

Yeah, that derailleur doesn’t work like that. Are you sure the cables are routed correctly?
You have not routed the cable through the derailleur correctly. See “Down pull” on [page 44 here](https://si.shimano.com/en/pdfs/dm/GN0001/DM-GN0001-27-ENG.pdf).
Shimano not putting in the instructions on paper anymore was a mistake…. ppl dont read em anyways…
but basically you need to route the cable differently. You can pull the Derailleur cage without cable forward, and kind of guess how the cable should pull it from that

Some front mechs do both.
You need to guide the cable around the other side of the plastic bit that rotates when you move the mech and put the cable in the opposite directing its currently in.
IF it has it of course.
Is this a derailleur replacement? There are top pull and bottom pull front derailleurs. I can’t tell from the vid what is going on.
Routed wrong – up and over , not direct
Solved it appears this front derailleur is not dual swing so I gotta buy a bottom swing derailleur so the mistake was on me my fault.
