No matter where you buy a helmet, make sure it has a CPSC sticker on it that contains the compliance notification. There are a few on Amazon that don’t and you want to avoid those.
It’s a cheaper brand that is recalled called Korimefa that do not meet the federal safety standards.

It’s been an issue for years with hundreds of helmet styles sold on Amazon and elsewhere. Individual recalls seem like a very cumbersome way to deal with it.
