  1. My wife bought the 2022 model a year ago for about $600, and this year’s model is going for the same price. I don’t think $420 is a bad deal, but if you can find one in your size at an LBS, for $180 more you’ll get a new bike, warranty, and probably a 30-60 day tuneup included, as well as initial setup and sizing. Some of them will do a pre-purchase bike fit for around $100, and then if you buy from them they take $100 off the price of the bike.

Either way it’s a really nice bike, especially for an entry level. My wife loves hers, and I’m a little jealous of the lowstep. You won’t be setting any speed records, but the 3×7 gearing is great for climbing and it’s a really comfortable ride.
