Hi all,
I am new to gravel and road biking but I am looking to purchase a second hand gravel bike for bike packing weekend trips.
I also would like to use the bike to commute as I live in the Netherlands.
I have the chance to get a almost new Cinelli which I'm in love in terms of aesthetics for 650 euro (retail price is 1400).
Anyone with experience with it? Do you suggest it as a first bike? Thank you so much.

For that price it is an excellent first bike.
Chinelli is a beast ! Pull the trigger
Just confirm it’s not stolen. Ask to see their bill of sale.
Make sure it fits you! If it doesn’t fit, it doesn’t matter how good the price is, it’s not the bike for you as it will hurt to ride
Also echo the point about checking it’s not stolen
I sold one for $300 a a few months back, not a bad bike I just got antsy and ordered a size up thinking it would work but was just a tad too big, solid bikes though
I don’t have experience with this bike or brand, but it sounds like a good deal for a first bike! And I do love the looks of a Cinelli – they sure stand out! Definitely give it a test ride and see if it fits you (you can adjust saddle and handlebar height and even swap out the stem if necessary), otherwise you’ll end up with discomfort after a while. Make sure all cables are tuned up well by the seller or by a bike shop and you’ll be in for many happy kilometers!
