  1. If it was just dented without a bend then I would ride it, but its bent so I would say it’s toast.

Hate to say it but you probably should start looking at another frame

Because of my ridestyle… I wouldn’t be confident to ride that bike…

  4. looks a little bent, probably fine, most people have ridden far worse. don’t go super hard but all these people are overreacting, I’ve ridden BMX bikes with cracked and tearing frames, just ride it lol

  5. Literally know someone who did the same thing on the SAME bike XD He got it re-enforced by a homie that works at Specialized

  6. The shitty thing about things like this is that itll be completely fine…until it isn’t. If it were steel I wouldn’t care because it can bend more, but aluminum just breaks. Bummer.

Common? I’ve never seen that. Doesn’t appear to be fatigue, more like blunt force. You received this in the mail?

If it’s 7000 series aluminum, find a tig welder and weld a small stiffener an inch on each side of the dent. If it’s 6061, it will be soft, whereas 7000 will age harden.

  9. I’m surprised a dealer sold it to you like that….. Like nobody caught that at any time?
