So I’m going to the track Tmwr, I organized it then cause I finally got a pump to pump my tires, but when I went to pump them nun happeneds, what I do is I remove the lil screw thingy on top (pic 1/2 without pic 5 w) then I put the pump on push the lil “lever” thing down and start pumping but u can hear and feel the air go out not in. I tried doing it w the screw thingy but it js don’t go on, and even without it js doesn’t hold. I did pump my tires before by removing the lil screw thingy but I used and automatic one (borrowed ) which I can’t do anymore. How am I supposed to do it, is it the pump that doesn’t work or is it me who don’t know how to do jack shi. Someone please explain I havent been riding in ages and I rly finna want to go

Your pump is designed to be used on a Schrader valve and your bike has a presta valve on it that is more common on road bikes.Best bet is to get different inner tubes or a bike pump with an interchangeable head to accept both types of valves.
You need a Presta to shrader Valve adaptor sometimes they are hidden in the pump leaver if not cheep enough from a local bike shop
Just double checked and there are adapters available and are not very expensive depending where you live.I found some for less than $3 us dollars at Walmart or any hardware store where I live.
If you are going racing, I’d almost guarantee somebody there as a pump for you. When I first started racing with my son I asked for a pump and eight people handed me a pump. Just head out to the track. Somebody will have adapters or a pump. They’ll take care of you.
If you have the dust cap for that valve you can cut the top off it and screw it back on the open valve sliding the pump over the whole thing. It should get you enough air to get to the track where they will have a pump 🙂
My pump unscrews and you can swap it around for the different valves
