Depends on the year the frame was made and the components. Off the top of my head I don’t remember when Trek got the Gary Fisher name; I’m pretty sure it was its own brand, once.

I have one, bought it new in ’96. It’s a run-around. Replaced the chain and BB, probably pads, that’s it. Solid.

A buddy of mine had that bike in 2004 or so. It was dated then. He beat the piss out of it riding trails with the crew and showed up ready to ride everyday. If it fits you buy it and ride it.
