My 5 year old Dutch style bike has cracked both crossbars just under the coupling for the handlebars.
Can these welds be repaired or am I safer to just replace the bike? Thanks

It’s steel so they could be repaired, but I’m not sure it’ll be cost effective on that bike.

The Gazelle warranty is supposed to be 10 years.
Both welds at the same time? That took one hell of an impact.
Has that frame been repaired before? The area surrounding the crack doesn’t look very “factory” to me.
Thanks for the responses. It’s an Achielle ebike I that bought privately and owned for three years. The damage may have happened before I bought the bike as the shop just pointed it out on a flat repair. No idea how it happened.
No. RIP old bike. You’ll need to find another frame.
