Need to find a full face helmet for my kid starting BMX racing clinic. He's 8 yrs old with a 20.25" circumference head. I ordered this "Fly Racing Kinetic Vision BMX Race Helmet", but it looks absolutely huge and it weighs a ton. Seems to fit him snugly inside. It's a YL size. No way his little neck can support that weight though. I feel like I'm missing something. Any recommendations/links?

Edit: This helmet I mention above… it weighs 3.0 lbs on the dot. Is that common for a kid’s helmet?
That’s DOT approved so it’s more of a moto helmet. Fly Rayce Helmet is for BMX and is way lighter. Amazon had last years paint styles on sale, I just picked one up for my son.
