We are on our way to Belfast northern Ireland from Dublin and when we are around 40km of our ride this accident happens at R108 as my co cyclist overtake me on the downhill at around 60kph, he didnt notice the on coming white van. his rear wheel skids as he applies the brakes and manage to avoid collision on the van and straight to the barrier. He suffered non life threatening injury Torn Ligament ACL shoulder. Thank God for his presence of mind to avoid major injury if he collided with the van.
