I’ve got a Swift Zeitgeist bag on my bars and have recently been experimenting with powering my bars. I’ve hit a point where the bag hits the front tire over bumps and has started to wear away the fabric on the bottom of the bag. I’ve raised the bars back up temporarily but I still feel like I need to go back down and would like to find a lightweight rack or bag support that works with the zeitgeist. I like the idea of something minimal like the Pec Deck/Rod Steward but the Zeitgeist doesn’t have the requisite loops for that. I’ve used a Surly 6-pack in the past on another bike but it is very much overkill and heavy for this application. Something in between would be ideal. Suggestions?

Something like the restrap bumper bar might work?

Personally I have rack like this one, https://timtas.nl/product/steerer-rack-black/, which I think works great
Oops… typos abound:
* Powering == Lowering
* 6 pack == 8 pack
I had the same issue on my topeak frontloader and i was afraid that it could damage the cables.
I used swimming boards that I cut to square and fitted with the straps. This is a cheap but totally working method. it’s also lightweight. If it is destroyed, changing it takes 5 minutes and 1€
Hate to admit that this ended up being my least favorite bar bag of all time to actually live with lol
Looks cool but I now use mine to store usb cables at home
Nitto M-18/M-1B from blue lug
BarYak. Not cheap but absolutely worth it.
Jack the Rack?
Mine didn’t lean as much as yours but I eventually bought a “Jack the rack” since I could buy it from a store with a good return policy to try it out. Honestly, I couldn’t be happier, sure it adds about 700g but it’s easy to install, super firm no movement and it keeps both cables and head tube in the clear.
If you want pictures let me know and I can set it up on the bike.
