A Peak district cycle ride to the north west of Chesterfield UK with breathtaking views. Good descents and climbs with some techy bits for good measure, some short road sections. Cinder track, tarmac, grass land and moorland….A short ride, great for fitness…..amazing wild bird life if you keep you eyes and ears open.
so good morning uh this morning’s ride is uh we’re going from uh what we call Three Lakes which is uh uh Lin reservoir uh just north of or Northwest of Chesterfield so I’m pting a bit cuz just climbed up the hill and today Mrs T’s here morning it’s a glorious day bit skiddy on the tires but it should be really good uh this one is only about 22 kmers long uh but it has got some really good little down and upy bits so uh it’s very technical so some Morland there’s some uh Cliffy sort of edgies and there’s lots and lots of uh fun to be had so uh I’ll have a chat with you as we go around cuz I’ve got bit more of a voice today which is really nice so we’ll see you later bye that’s some vistor isn’t it absolutely [Music] Gorge so we’re on a top of the first climb uh just across across uh just across this field here is baslo so we’re just on the uh B 6050 and if we come right to this play across here this is Sheffield in the distance so this way is Sheffield see a couple of towers on the uh on the horizon and as we move around we have the Crooked Spire of Chesterfield so crooked Spire of chestfield and then we have the the route carrying on down here uh which is a a cender track uh down through uh into bit of a gully and then we go up uh past the mast at the top I think Mrs te’s ready to go you ready to go Mr T this is ready ready to go so we’ll have another lot but this is the most spectacular spectacular part of the world it is beautiful this morning and warm so in front of us we had a self-seeded reded engine beautiful red color and the uh little stream here crosses has a waterfall across the other end of the uh the road which is really nice so we’re going to have a little ride through the the water splash it’s absolutely beautiful oh there’s a duck Hello Duck no Duck’s [Music] gone see you later Mr duck so this field normally got horses in it but today there’s no horses in this field so that’s good and this is where the bridal way runs through and there are a couple little jumps that the lads have done for the locals so we’ll have a quick look at those and have a little jump over them you at Mrs T [Music] [Music] buy all through the quack mire oh I think uh I think somebody’s lost the the path you want to roll it you’re more than welcome [Music] [Music] [Music] beautiful absolutely beautiful change down it’s wibbly wobbly [Music] [Music] hill Oh feature [Music] so pass a m this is the highest point to the ride there near as dam It Anyway we’ got one more climb to go to the highest point perhaps have to check that Mrs T but you wouldn’t put a uh transmitter on the lowest one would you no so presume this one is the highest here we are on top of the world fantastic you can always see to the edges the world oh that is beautiful and War it’s very War I think we’re both over I am [Music] [Music] think you way TR [Applause] legal sure some going kick you off [Music] hey got [Applause] great yeah [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] right so it’s a banana stop and we just stopped on a thought you waving it’s bit mushed mushed banana on my banana uh so this is a beautiful place it’s a a section of the ride uh so just before we descend over the other side back down to the reservoirs uh but just have a little look I’ll just uh pan around you can have a little look the cooko uh cooking this morning which is amazing so it really is the most beautiful place and it’s not that wet which I’m really amazed at oh look there she is again and there we are all the way back so we’ll finish off our bananas and we’ll carry on in a minute or two [Music] [Music] the Bracken Brown is the most amazing texture of the light on it is he beautiful [Music] oh this is brilliant nice and steep that’s so cool is really good too Qui Des is a head in the water here it goes woo brilliant love it w it’s brilliant the this one is a challenge [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] yeah F just [Music] [Music] how cool that plenty of loose Rock oh that brilliant [Music] [Music] [Applause] we expected to see some horses cuz they came after us the last not S I left in oh nearly [Music] [Music] this is Old Brampton it’s going past Church View House the church on your on out right St Peter and St Paul [Music] Brampton lovely thatched entrance [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] morning gorgeous isn’t it it did so you haven’t got smelly Vision on this yeah but uh it’s full of wild garlic and it is really overpowering it’s absolutely beautiful yeah absolutely well hope the H always go hello [Music] e e
