Day 3, riding through the heart of Telemark was one of the greatest rides of my life. The whole place is a paradise waiting to be discovered. Hardly any cars, smooth roads, and endless jaw-dropping scenery. However, it comes at a price. This monster climb out of the valley is steep, long, and unforgiving. It’s a pure sufferfest of biblical proportion.

  1. You can camp wherever you want in Norway – in private or public land. You can not camp closer than 150 m from residential HOUSES in use – and not in fields that are in use. (safety) Otherwise – enjoy yourself.

  2. Amazing videos! It really is hard to find footage and info on bike packing in Norway πŸ™‚ I'm planning a 2-3 month trip to Norway on the bike this summer, would love to get in contact, looks like you have a lot of experience πŸ™‚

  3. Awesome video. Top notch. Could I suggest in future productions that you manage the volume – at times its a whisper, but when you overlay the music it blasts if we have the volume up. Great content πŸ‘Œ

  4. Very nice videos. However, just wondering why you carry so much water? You can fill your bottle almost any places in the mountains. I have travelled by bike thousands of km i Norway and I carry only one 0.75 L bottle to save a little bit weight

  5. what an amazing trip – awesome effort.
good to see how mother nature can lift you from the lows.
sometimes i have pinch myself to remember a bad day on the bike is better than a good day in the office.

  6. Very nice Videos. Last year I ride from Kristiansand to Stavanger the over the FjΓ€ll to Setesdal and back to Stavanger in 4 Days… With a Canyon Grail cf sl etap. Next week I go from Kristiansand up to setesdal and than to Dalen – Porsgrunn and on the Coast back to the Ferry in Kristiansand in 4 Days. I have only 1 Week freetime every year. With your great Videos the anticipation gets bigger and bigger! I have a Apidura 17l Sattlepack, the 4,5l Apidura Framepack and the Topeak frontloader. No Backpack. With Vaude Hogan UL 2p. Greetings from Germany. JENS Have you got a Strava Account?

  7. The sign 2:57 into the video was fun, someone has removed the letter 'k' so instead of 'kanalbΓ₯tane' it reads 'analbΓ₯tane' πŸ™‚. In English maybe not so fun – 'canalboats' – 'analboats'

  8. When I see these videos I’m glad I’m living in Norway. I love this country. It’s actually the 1. Line of the national anthem πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ˜€
