This is my Specialized Hardrock commuter project I picked up off Marketplace last week for a steal (see last photo). I’ve cleaned it up and swapped out a few things this past week but have many more plans for it. I have a bunch of new parts coming today such as a bmx stem and bars, new brake levers, thumb shifters, all new cables and housing and brake pads. I still have plans to get a front rack and basket but trying to decide if I want to pull the trigger on a full Nitto setup. I need to swap out this SDG saddle since it’s too narrow for me, accepting recommendations for comfortable saddles. Lastly I need to upgrade the gearing and I’m going to swap to a single 42t up front.

Absolutely beautiful bike. What a huge difference with a cleaning and the changes you’ve made so far. Can’t wait to see it with the new bars.
