Basso Palta 2, its a massive upgrade from my entry level revolt 2 and I couldn’t be happier! Had to get some decent gravel miles in, and then we decided to do some last minute single track practice for Rule of Three!
Its probably the nicest bike I’ll ever own, I’m pretty new to the hobby of cycling in general, started last year after spectating Mid South on a date with my partner, just did my first 100 on road last weekend, and am fully falling in love with gravel. So this year I competed at Mid South and had a phenomenal time. The revolt was a great bike but I wanted something that would last me for a while, and be comfortable as I get into the bigger mileage. The Palta is seriously a comfortable ride but doesn’t feel like it loses too much to achieve that at all. I couldn’t be happier with it, it honestly might just be the main bike now even on road rides.
