I’m moving in two weeks so I need to get to n=1 by then because I’m moving into a smaller space with no secure bike storage. Here’s the dilemma: Currently n=2 right now. 1) Fuji Absolute 2.1 that I’ve customized to my liking – saddle, grips, rack, baskets, lights, flat pedals, etc, love everything except for the aluminum ride. 2) 1980s steel Bridgestone MB-2 that I worked on – love the ride but don’t love the friction shifting, cantilever brakes and I’ve never quite gotten the gears and brakes to not slip while I’m riding.
Another reason all this is coming into question is I haven’t really ridden the bikes in about 2 years. I primarily ride recreationally on the weekends and the place I’m moving to will be 2 blocks away from a 12 mile greenway trail.
Options I’m considering:
A) get rid of both bikes. If I really want to have a bike, I’ll upgrade to something like a All City Space Horse
B) keep the Fuji, donate the Bridgestone
Any other considerations?

As an owner and regular rider of a Space Horse, I can’t recommend it enough. Fantastic do it all bike.
