Lots of walking through mud, barefoot stream crossing with my bike on my back, and climbing fences to get to the road because I was lost.
Found my successful fuelling strategy with one fruit soft bake every 20 mins alongside a hydro-pak, and electrolyte tablet water in a bottle. Ran out of food 3 hours in and the last 10km were not fun. Would (and will) 100% do it again.

Hey, I thought rule number one of the UK mud club is that you don’t talk about the mud club.
Just kidding, sounds like a great ride and glad you had fun. Sometimes challenges make for the best ones, right?

Completed my longest ride ever yesterday (46km)!
