DOING A CYCLE ROUTE SENT 6,260km, ACROSS THE WORLD!!

An epic cycle that could only be made up from someone across the world. A friend from st.Louis, Missouri, America made me a cycle route for my local area Kilkenny, Ireland. He looked on Strava and came up with a route, I didn’t know where the route went or how long it would take. The challenge was set and accepted. Watch along to see how it went. suddenly this good idea is just turned into a nightmare who in the right mind would let an American in St Louis Missouri make over Mafia did you have a clue where it goes you’re just following the dot in the Garmin getting [Music] around how’s it going on back to the channel it’s uh Sunday the 5th May 8:00 a.m. fresh it’s lovely op there a nip hopefully it’ll warm up as we go along so the plan today I have no idea no idea where I’m going the route was made up by an American friend of mine B from uh St Louis Missouri I met him two years ago he came over with the Wake we went over for a cycle and then last year he was over again visiting family and we were having a coffee thought this would be a great idea so he made up the R I don’t even know if he knows the r but uh we’ll give it a go so de had a quick look at the star Point told me to go from the castle we put it into the Garment and we’ll get going I don’t even know if he knows through he could have just planned anywhere on the map and said off you go the only thing I know is it’s one clim and one coffee stop I’m happy about the coffeee shop right let’s get this into the gar and go I have no idea where I’m going but who cares what a cracking morning that I was going to do the cycle yesterday but had a few cheeky glasses of wine Friday night woke up I wasn’t feeling the best and it was miserable it was pure winter gear yesterday so we left it doing it this morning hopefully get the video later on today oh oh what a best choice we made what a morning why meire two years ago he married a friend of mine we grew up together and uh when she moved over to America got got married they were coming over bar said he bring his bike so she put us in contact with each other and uh we went over a cycle absolute gent so we’re back over a few months ago he didn’t have the weight this time so we just made up for a coffee so it thought would be a great idea for an American to plan the roof for me over here this could be complete gruer or Bliss and I have no idea what kind have to put down for me one climb in it he head and it’s roughly 100 km so won’t kill me anyway but it’ll be interesting when he sent under the rout took everything I had not to have a sneaky peek at we head is Runing around trying to think where’s the claim but more importantly where’s the coffee shop so B to tell me about all these gravel rids in St Louis are two 300 miles long look absolutely Savage so we plan is a sun Sage we get over there give it a go [Music] [Music] unreal good didn’t ring the camera what a shot they run the main roads from B bridge to Thomas hble we on the back RS now so much better and I’m delighted so R I never would have t anyway so we’re on the way to the and there’s a monster of a claim Woodstock Hill oh we’ll hopefully meet up with PJ some Sage get off for a cycle with him well just for myself in July there we have a Savage right planned myself and Shane are going to go from Ken up to Dublin get the ferry into Wales go through England Scotland Fair back and go from Belfast back down to specialized zland finish there it’s not for another two months but we’ll throw it up on Instagram and if by any chance anyone’s around those areas f a little bit of a spin by all means jump in you probably can’t see thatle lens in the distance please God tell me we’re not going on M lenser we’re going on M he has we dragged along with him pressure is on here’s your proof that I didn’t look at this before he left cuz there isn’t a hope I bring the T down this without KNN what was going to happen it’s thank God we out back on the tarma I need to get home it’s taking all day now at this stage so I came out there I’m in Baris left at 8 it’s now 10 11 but only 52k R Under Pressure now for a bit of time I wouldn’t have stopped that coffee stop if I knew we were going that way I thought we were going up M ler our river bank and woods slowed the whole thing down still don’t know how far this has to go so qu one needs to be to cut off can’t go any further so let’s crack on and get on with it see if we can finish it or get most of it done oh just came from bar hit magnet town I need the Gamera to go left camera’s telling me to go right Ah that’s not the way home that is not the way home we go away for a minute and see what happens going a completely opposite way to home so I give it 5K if we don’t make a change in Direction on as our having to make my way home so I went up the road about 3 and 1/2k took a left went to W ockland but H it’s a small village I think there’s a funeral going on or something so I didn’t take out the camera we’re on the way home I think straight hallway about an hour to get home or poor little ring is going to be stuck with the girls going shopping their pennies for today and no man deserves that so I really want to be back on time for him so 85k in4 12 and I’ve just came off the route cuz of course left a p to and in towards the village in Gorn it’s literally on the opposite side of that field going the same direction but I just think I might be a bit late getting home i a b got coming up but sometimes you just have to play the game at home as well deor never gives me any hustle getting out in the cycle R so I want to make sure I’m back home on time I probably would have only for we went down by the river and through that woods and all that just ate the whole time up what a route though Jesus B put me through the ringer today 100K just back in Ken 12:45 so I just make it to the house before I said I would de’s picky his friends up at 1:00 so we make it right decision to make it back on time got it just missed the end of the R so we’re back 5 to one few minutes to spare the girls are in the car waiting ready to go from straa 103.5 km 4 hours 10 moving time aage speed 24. a so it was probably a fail there’s no probably it was a f we didn’t follow the exact route so we had to be line at home straight at the end well Savage R testing absolutely would never have went that way if I was on my own so fair play about tested me he throw the two up to compare very little in the difference well it wasn’t 100% I know anyway if you
